Each summer, new staff members attend the 7 Habits Leader in Me training. To promote ongoing learning throughout the year, we provide LiM updates at each staff meeting. The principal also sends out “Monday Morning Motivational” emails that provide LiM habit explanations. Each new teacher is given a mentor that familiarizes them with Franklin Preschool as well as LiM practices and procedures. Our lighthouse team has participated in book studies, such as “Trust & Inspire” to help staff understand important principles of leadership. Teacher’s watch a 7-habits movement video put together by our very own teacher, Lisa Gadomski. This video helps our students learn the habits paired with movement. Teachers participate in professional development every other Thursday that incorporates “Leader in Me” activities.

Individual Staff Goals
Staff meets weekly with Academic, Instructional, and Curriculum Coach
During that time they set individual goals using a modified 4DX model found on the Leader in Me website
Goal can be related to school, personal, or some other facet of life
Built in cadence of accountability with meetings
